Music Planner

Here are few ideas for music for forthcoming Sundays and Solemnities. However, we recommend The Liturgy Planner which is published by Decani Music. We also recommend Music & Liturgy, the journal of The Society of St Gregory, which includes an excellent music planner and is free to members – worth taking out an annual subscription.

The new Lectionary has arrived. And, with it, a new version of the psalms.
But don’t panic – there’s a three-year grace period during which we can switch!

MusicforLiturgy.online is a new website, carrying settings of the psalms for the new Lectionary. The site is currently showing settings of the psalms from the First Sunday of Advent to the Sundays of Easter by John Ainslie, Nick Baty, Philip Jakob and Alan Smith. More on the way!
